Gulliver's travels

                             Guliver's Travels

What must have it been like to be a citizen of Lilliput when Guliver washed on shore?

If i was a citizen of Lilliput and all of sudden this living thing washes up on our shore, I would have at first been skeptical. I would be curious to see what exactly this thing was but wouldn't have approached it not knowing what it was capable of. Then once I figured out the thing was a human and not trying to killor harm us at least for now I would have gone along with the rest of the people and treated him like a guest or visitor.

TLOM

                   Describe the author's style......

James Cooper style is different from books from other authors that I've read. Copper uses an extravagant amount imagery and detail when righting about the setting and atmosphere. He also uses imagery when describe a characters actions in the book. Like Mirjam Pressler did in my previous book Cooper uses small editors notes to give further information on a word or statement.

TLOM

What some things the author uses to help you visualize the story? Provide examples.

James Feinmore Cooper uses lots of figurative language mostly imagery to describe what's happening in the story and its atmosphere. Examples of this occur at the beginning of chapter 6 "At the farther extremity of a narrow, deep cavern in the rock", "The strong glare of the fire fell upon his sturdy", and " weatherbeaten countenance and forest attire".
